FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Answers about how RidgeCore's service request process works, what's covered, and how repair, installation, and warranty service are handled.
Requests & Process
How does a RidgeCore service request work?
You submit a request describing the appliance, the symptoms, and your address area. RidgeCore organizes that information — along with model and serial details when available — through CORELINK ServiceOS so a technician arrives prepared instead of guessing. A diagnostic visit confirms the issue and produces a written estimate before repair work begins.
Is the online request form a live submission system?
Not yet. The request form validates your information and builds a printable, copyable summary you can send to RidgeCore once contact details are published, or hand to a technician directly. It does not silently submit data to a server. This page will be updated the moment a live intake system is connected.
What information should I have ready before requesting service?
The appliance type and brand, the model and serial number if you can find them (usually on a sticker inside the door frame or behind/underneath the unit), a description of the symptoms, and your general address area. Photos of the rating plate and the problem help a technician prepare before the visit.
What areas does RidgeCore serve?
RidgeCore is based in Colorado Springs and serves the surrounding Pikes Peak region. Visit the service-area page for a description of the general coverage area, and confirm your specific address when you submit a request.
What happens after I submit a service request?
RidgeCore reviews the details and follows up to confirm scheduling against your preferred window. A diagnostic visit confirms the actual issue and produces a written estimate, which you approve before any work begins. The completed work is then recorded against the appliance's service history in CORELINK ServiceOS.
Repair
Which appliances does RidgeCore repair?
Refrigerators and freezers, washers, dryers, dishwashers, ranges and ovens (gas and electric), and microwaves, including built-in and over-the-range units. See the appliance-specific repair pages for symptom detail on each category.
Do you diagnose before quoting a repair price?
Yes. Appliance failures often share symptoms with different root causes, so RidgeCore diagnoses the actual fault first and documents it before presenting a repair estimate, rather than quoting a flat price from a symptom description alone.
Installation & Replacement
Can RidgeCore install an appliance I purchased elsewhere?
Yes. Installation service covers appliances you've already purchased, including delivery-day installation coordination, proper connection (water, gas, dedicated electrical circuits as applicable), leveling, and startup verification.
What is appliance replacement coordination?
When a repair isn't cost-effective, RidgeCore documents the diagnosis, discusses replacement options with you, and coordinates removal of the old unit and installation of the new one as a single, organized project rather than two disconnected visits.
Do you protect floors and cabinets during installation?
Yes. Moving an appliance across finished flooring or through a cabinet opening risks scratching or chipping those surfaces, so RidgeCore protects the travel path — floors, cabinet edges, and nearby countertops — before moving anything, and handles the appliance itself carefully to avoid denting its panels.
Property & Multifamily
Does RidgeCore work with property managers and landlords?
Yes. RidgeCore provides appliance service for multifamily communities and property-management portfolios, including coordinated scheduling across units and documented service history for each appliance, organized through CORELINK ServiceOS.
Can you service laundry rooms in apartment communities?
Yes. Residential laundry equipment service is available for in-unit and shared laundry-room equipment, with commercial laundry support planned as a future service line — see the CORELINK roadmap for how that expansion is being organized.
Warranty
Do you work with home warranty companies?
RidgeCore performs warranty-authorized service work where a contractual relationship with the warranty provider is in place. Coverage, authorization, and covered scope are determined by your warranty company, not by RidgeCore.
What if my appliance isn't covered by a warranty?
Standard diagnostic and repair service is available regardless of warranty status. The diagnostic visit will confirm the issue and produce a written estimate either way.
